The Galaxy Watch 2 will likely be released next month

Samsung plans to hold a Galaxy S20 launch conference in early February at the MWC in Barcelona. The company has planned several events, and it seems that smartphones are not the only ones that Samsung has focused on.

A new case discovered by the Galaxy Club reveals the serial number of a Samsung smartwatch. The model number of the SM-R840 is similar to the model number of the old Samsung smartwatch, which now shows that the new generation of Samsung smartwatches is on its way. Samsung has launched the Galaxy Watch Active and Galaxy Watch Active 2, but overall the original Galaxy Watch series has not been upgraded yet.

Unfortunately, apart from the model number and the 330 mAh battery capacity, no other information has been revealed about this smartwatch. It is said that the company has updated almost all the features related to the Galaxy Watch Active 2 that was released last year, in the new series. So now it is difficult to say whether Samsung intends to change only the hardware of the Galaxy Watch or upgrade its software system completely!

Now we just have to wait for more information about the new generation of Samsung smartwatches to be released.
